WaveOS

Android custom ROM project based on AOSP, with a perfect blend of aesthetic, functionality and most importantly, performance.

Getting started

To get started with WaveOS, you'll need to get familiar with Repo and Version Control with Git.

To initialize the WaveOS sources locally, use a command like this:

 repo init -u https://github.com/Wave-Project/manifest -b s

Then to sync up:

 repo sync -c --force-sync --optimized-fetch --no-tags --no-clone-bundle --prune -j$(nproc --all)

Finally, to build

$ source build/envsetup.sh
$ brunch <device>

Submitting Patches

Our ROM is open source, and patches are always welcome! We do not have a Code Review platform such as Gerrit (yet), so you can use GitHub pull requests to submit your patches.

Maintainership

Have you built WaveOS for your device, enjoyed it, and ready to take on a longer journey and be a part of the team by maintaining WaveOS officially for your device? Fill out our maintainership form at https://forms.gle/oA8nJnu5BgLCD4KDA today and we'll reach out to you soon enough! Maintainership for Android 11 (v4.x) is closed.
