WBCE CMS 1.6.2

This is a maintenance release, which addresses some minor bugs which appeared during the last months. Also, included third party libraries and scipts were updated. As usual this package can be used for fresh installations as well as for direct updates from any prior WBCE CMS version.
Thanks to all contributors and a very generous donor.

WBCE CMS 1.6.1

This is a SECURITY / bugfix release. Please update as soon as possible; for more information, see annoncement in the WBCE CMS forum.

WBCE CMS 1.6.0

WBCE 1.6.0 brings some bigger changes: it is the first version which is compatible to PHP 8.2, furthermore Editarea has been replaced with CodeMirror, the Droplets and the Outputfilter admin tool were heavily reworked and changes to the database class were applied for better error reporting. Also several bugfixes and some potential security flaws were fixed.
As usual this package can be used for fresh installations as well as for direct updates from any prior WBCE CMS version. Further information can be found in the WBCE CMS forum.

WBCE CMS 1.6.0-beta.4

This is another pre-release of the upcoming version of WBCE CMS. During the last days, some more rework was apllied to the output filters (removing unnecessary ones, sharpen titles and descriptions, new markdown reader for readme files). Also an issue with the search is now (hopefully) fixed.
As usual this package can be used for fresh installations as well as for direct updates from any prior WBCE CMS version - but keep in mind, this is a pre release, it's not recommended to use it for productive websites already, since minor bugfixes and adjustments still might be necessary. Nevertheless you're very welcome to test installation/updating on different platforms and report any problems via Github issues or in the WBCE CMS forum.

WBCE CMS 1.6.0-beta.2

This is the preview release of the upcoming version 1.6.0 of WBCE CMS. (beta-1 had a severe error and had to be unpublished, sorry.)

WBCE CMS 1.5.4

This release fixes some issues introduced in 1.5.3 and adresses some minor security flaws. Upgrading from any prior version is recommended. As usual, the package includes all files for new instantces as well as updating existing instances of WBCE CMS. Further information can be found in the WBCE forum.

WBCE CMS 1.5.3

With the release 1.5.3, WBCE CMS is ready for PHP 8.1. Also, some bugs were fixed and included tools and libraries (CKEditor, PHPMailer etc.) were updated.

WBCE CMS 1.5.2

This version fixes a security issue reported by @maxway2021.
Furthermore, PHPMailer, Twig and CKEditor are updated to the latest versions and some minor bugs were fixed.

WBCE CMS 1.5.1

This release fixes some smaller issues and updates some of the included modules and libraries like CKEditor, elFinder, News with Images, Twig, PHPMailer etc. Direct update is possible from all prior WBCE CMS versions. Attention: if you are updating from a version prior to 1.5.0 please read the release notes for 1.5.0 too to learn more about the breaking changes which were introduced in that version.

WBCE CMS 1.5.0

In the 1.5.0 release, included modules and libraries were updated, several bugs were fixed. Since it's a security relevant release, an update is strongly recommended.
The release contains as usual the update script which allows you a direct update from all prior WBCE CMS versions to 1.5.0.
Attention! This is a major release with some breaking changes; please read the release notes available in the WBCE CMS forum carefully.
Please notice that you probably have to update the modules used on your website too!
