Hi, I'm UkuleleBoy46, a self-taught developer in the United States. I like reading, spending time in nature, gardening, and researching health & nutrition. I have a public bot and a few servers.

• My favorite programming language is Javascript. I also use HTML and CSS, and in the past I've used some Python.

• I mostly make small projects, such as bookmarklets and HTML web tools (some of which then turn into larger projects).

• I make Discord bots and run a Discord server to help people code (with a focus on Discord bots) and make their Discord servers better.

• I speak English, I'm learning Spanish, and I know a little German.

UkuleleBoy46 Solutions is a small group of developers that finds solutions to people's everyday problems in the real world using online technology. Whether that's automating chicken feed amounts, bypassing ad walls, or rebuilding websites to make them load much faster, we fix it with the power of code.

We're looking for JavaScript and HTML & CSS developers to expand our team and assist in projects. As I (UkuleleBoy46) work with all of these skillsets, I will be able to guide the team and provide clear instructions. We do all our work for free and open source and we can't pay you, but you'll gain valuable coding experience, learn how to work with a team, and build your resume. We are currently working on a large/scalable project, but we may also have smaller projects to work on that we'd like your help with (taking approx. 1-3 days on average). I am seeking these positions (If your skillsets reach across multiple of these positions, that would be awesome, as they all work closely together. You may work in all three!):

You will work on projects using front-end (in-browser) JavaScript code.

• Have some experience with vanilla JavaScript
• Have at least a basic level of English

• Can keep your code simple, small, and easy to read
• Can create code using minimal or no 3rd-party libraries
• Know how to use/make bookmarklets
• Know how to work as a team and follow instructions

You will design the UI for web apps and ensure users have a pleasant experience using the code.

• Have experience in HTML and CSS
• Can make an aesthetically pleasing and functional interface

• The ability to work alongside JavaScript to create functional pieces
• Can follow instructions well and receive and respond to constructive criticism well
• Can create web interfaces from drawings or other websites without copying the HTML

You will make sure users' data is secure and that code is free from vulnerabilities. This is a very important job in software development.

• Knowledge and experience in cyber security, including preventing cyber attacks (especially XSS attacks) and maintaining user privacy.
