The USEEIO modeling framework allows users to generate components of input-output and environmentally-extended input-output models as has been described for the US EPA's USEEIO model (Yang, Ingwersen et al. 2017). IO model components are generally built from raw source data in the form of static datasets or collected via web services from original providers, which are US federal government agencies. Assembly of all prepared components is done using simple commands from the useeiopy module (see this example) that draw in functionality from the IO Model Builder (iomb).
