The Rach5 Helper is a WordPress plugin that provides necessary functions for running Rach5, an open source WordPress theme boilerplate.
You can install the theme and plugin in any order, however the theme will break on the front-end until you have the helper installed. A helpful notification in the admin panel will guide you to the zip upload page, so you can upload the most recent zip file.
Rach5 (that's pronounced Rock as in Rach-maninov) is a WordPress theme boilerplate developed by Chris Van Patten for Van Patten Media.
Rach5 provides a set of "sensible defaults" that make it faster to jump into developing a custom WordPress website, and get right out of your way as quickly as possible by not imposing any (well, almost any) style decisions. Rach5 uses HTML5, Ruby and Compass, and a mix of WordPress native and custom functions that make theme development fast and fun.
