StuffyBot

A music discord bot made entirely from Java using the JDA library

Discord Server Setup

This will show you the step-by-step process on how to setup StuffyBot on your discord server!

  1. Invite StuffyBot to your discord server using https://thingyservers.xyz. Make sure to follow the instructions there!

  2. Once, StuffyBot is on your server, we need to set your music channel. First, at your discord window/app, go to your "User Settings" by clicking the gear icon near to your discord tag (bottom-left corner).

  3. Once on your "User Settings", scroll down until you find the "Advanced" tab and click on it.

  4. On the "Advanced" tab. You'll see the Developer Mode. Tick Developer Mode to ON.

  5. After ticking the Developer Mode to ON, you can now click ESC on your keyboard to come out of the "User Settings" window.

  6. Now, go to the discord server that you just added StuffyBot on. And right click on the specific channel that you want to put the music channel on and click on "Copy ID".

  7. After clicking the "Copy ID" button, go to any bot channels you have, or you can just go to the music channel that you've just Copied the ID on.

  8. On that channel, send a message like this: ",setchannel this", if on another channel, do ",setchannel <copied id | ctrl+v | cmd+v>"

  9. Once you've sent the message, StuffyBot will respond with: "Successfully done! You can now use all the features."

  10. And with that, the setup is done! You can use/send ,help on that channel for more information about the commands.
