add tests to binary exponentiation

Thanks for your contribution, but unfortunately we now have tests for all of the files you modified, and we don't really have a need for more tests for those files. Furthermore, those files have changed since you opened your PR, and your PR now has conflicts. We welcome you to contribute tests to other files, however.
