modified Gemfile to use 3.2.3 or greater
ruby ">=3.2.3"
added devise gem to Gemfile for the user model and authentication
gem 'devise'

Completed the Encyclopedia web application.
Utilized the rails library to generate:

home controller
user model integrated with devise
