Compendium Downloader requires Java 8 and an D&D Insider account to work.

Windows users should download the exe file, while Mac and Linux should grab the jar file.
Upgrade is as simple as overwriting old exe/jar, launch, and re-export data.
(If an old version export was copied to other devices, please delete it before coping the new export.)

After compendium data is downloaded, this app can export the data to an html web page.
The download should be a one-off process. Future updates are not expected to require re-download.

  • Corrects 520+ entries, better entry summary, and more item categories.
  • Left click on text to initiate internal term lookup.
  • Better mobile layout, slimmer file structure and faster export.
  • Added detection of required features, absent by default on OpenJDK.
