Minor text rendering issue

It looks like something has changed in how smaller text is rendered with all the new updates. Ive linked some pictures to show what I mean, the title bar text looks fine, but the smaller text looks messed up. I'm using the fancy launcher option with very few changes. The normal launcher does not show this issue.

ah, text antialiasing...

Substance (the dark theme) was updated at some point for compatibility with newer Javas - perhaps that is the culprit. But it's weird - usually this issue crops up on Linux and applies to every launcher theme. I'm not sure why a particular look and feel would disable antialiasing.
