The logo seems distorted on higher resolution screens? I first downscaled the logo to 48x48 but because of the distortion i went with the native size (512x512) except it still looks distorted (using a 4k monitor)

The text etc also seems to be very low resolution

sounds similar to #390 and possibly related to #168 & #153?

i'm not sure why antialiasing is being disabled though. the Swing toolkit seems to make decisions on it pretty arbitrarily
