Note:

Before running ATC Buddy, edit your \Users\<username>\Documents\VRC\myservers.txt file and add the line:

localhost ATC Buddy

After starting ATC Buddy, select "ATC Buddy" as the server to connect to in the VRC login window.

New Changes

  • Automatic altitude amendments (direction of flight)
  • Automatic squawk assignment
  • Coordinate based events (See ATC-Buddy README.md)
  • Full screen integration

Improvements

  • showResults has been cleaned up to be faster and less repetitive.

Use ATC Buddy at your own risk. It is still buggy, and can cause mishaps while controlling. Please report any bugs you may encounter on the issues page.

Changes

  • Adding an entry will now auto refresh the list, instead of having to search the query again to find the data.
  • About model's GitHub link changed cursor to pointer on hover.

Bug Fixes

  • Blank TEC Route form will cause the app the crash.
  • Can highlight sidenav icons and navigation links.
  • Blank 'New Entry' form submission.
  • Entry button does nothing
  • Duplicating favorites
  • Some data being hidden by Favorite Button

Release Notes

This update provides many changes, additions, and improvements to the program. To read about planned features / upcoming changes, visit the GitHub repository's wiki page.

Added

  • Favorites - You can now add aircraft type, airlines, etc. to your favorites list for easier access. This lkst will always be visible at the top of the page.
  • Add New Entry - Adding data manually has been fully implemented.
  • About - About modal is now complete and shows whenever the About navigation link is pressed. Summarizes the program in a couple sentence.

Changed

  • [Devs] Each data is now separated into their own files for easier management.
  • Profile Modal will no longer accept invalid file paths.
  • Alias Profile Listing will no longer allow viewing of profile that has a file path that no longer exists. Will only show the error and delete button now.
  • Minor UI tweaks for Alias Profile listing page.
  • Scrollbar has been redesigned to fit the current theme.
  • When searching up data, it will now show the count of results.
  • Loading Screen to prevent stuttering during startup.
  • Empty results will no longer show the results collection element.
  • Alias Editor had some redesign to make the editor and commands list run more smoothly.
  • Ported to VUE for future ease of development.

Removed

  • Responsiveness support has been discontinued. This might be brought back in later versions of the program.
