There is a lot of confusion about what RasPlex is. Put simply, RasPlex is PlexHT for the raspberry pi. RasPlex is community run by volunteers (though we do accept donations), and is not officially affiliated with Plex Inc, though we do have a close and fruitful relationship with the official Plex devs. To re-iterate, RasPlex is a port of the PlexHT client to Raspberry pi, not the Plex Media Server.

One of the most common questions we get from users is how they can help out.
Since many of our users are non-technical, they think that there is nothing they can do. In reality, anyone can help with RasPlex.
If you want to help, and have no or limited technical skills, keep reading to find out how to be a community advocate or tester!
And if you are technically savvy, we would of course love you to join us in on the front lines in development :)
