Legacy Game Exploits (PSP & Vita)

The original versions of ARK for the PS Vita had to be loaded via savegame exploits, until the PBOOT bubble trick was discovered that rendered game exploits unnecessary. ARK however still maintains the same structure and overall method of loading that savegame exploits used to have.

  • This is mainly for developers and historical purposes.
  • Considering the savedata exploit loads H.BIN from the savedata path.
  • Copy the files H.BIN and ARK.BIN from ARK_01234 to the vulnerable savedata.
  • You need to have a K.BIN if you are running on an ancient Vita firmware (there's plenty of kernel exploit sources in ARK-2 and ARK-3 for reference). The kernel exploit (K.BIN) used on PSP (ARK_Loader) is capable of running on older PS Vita firmwares up to version 3.18 (1K/2K) and 3.20 (Vita TV).
  • Run the game and trigger the exploit as normal, it should load ARK.
