This is a proposal.

Issue lifecycle

  1. Untriaged: An issue is just filed. The problem it describes has not been confirmed yet. At this moment the issue is untriaged. The issue is not assigned to anyone and it is not expected to be worked on in this state.
  2. Ready: An issue will be approved after it is examined and successfully reproduced or recognized. The issue's state become Ready. The issue may not be assigned to anyone yet but it is open whoever interested in working on it.
  3. Working: When an issue is being worked on it is in Working status. It should be associated to its pull request. It should also be assigned to its owner.
  4. Done: After code change is merge to main branch an issue is marked as Done.
