So, Heroes' voicelines are out of the question for now. But hopefully this works for us.
Just place this "event_adx.afs" file into your mod's gd_PC folder and you should have SADX voicelines randomized in with the SA2 lines. I've tested for a while no issues (though it's 4am) so I am hoping this works for us.

-2 mins after posting this I realized that cutscenes don't like mixing the two games, it picks one or the other for the cutscene (this throws off subtitles, I'll fix later)

Note
Subtitles and Game tags are working, but I would leave the "Voiceline Randomization Type" at "True Random" or maybe "Random, No Omochao".

Sorry for the long delay in updates. New computer. But with the new computer came new standards of code and a ton of manual overhauling. Hopefully this leads to less crashes and faster boots.

Note To Start
-If you experience issues with the newer versions, please ping me asap.
-I will no longer include config.ini, so your settings will be saved through updates. HOWEVER, if you have troubles with settings try deleting that file and resetting it up before you worry something broke.

Code
-Stage Variants are now matched AFTER characters are loaded
-YAY, finally random characters on load is an option
-Tons of cleaning up, nothing that is noticeable, maybe a bit faster but that's about it
-Hints should be more accurate now too
-Thanks to MainMemory, all character bosses now have title cards during the battle

Options
-Random Character On Load added to character randomization
-Vanilla Exclusion Pool option added to allow bosses and m5's to be vanilla characters only

Stages
-General Softlock prevention throughout
-Removing more unobtainable objects

Also, I am leaning towards submitting SA2R into the Sonic Hacking Contest 2019, the submission asks for video footage. If you have a good clip and want it used, send it my way, I will build a community montage!

So this one is gonna come with a fair bit of instructions. Please read them all!
Included in these assets is a file called "event_adx.afs". [Must be on github]
This file contains all the voice lines from Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, Sonic Adventure DX, and Sonic Heroes
This is completely OPTIONAL to use, but there are several new settings that require you to use it.

To use:

  1. Download event_adx.afs and place into this mod's gd_PC folder
  2. Load into a file with Japanese saved as the language
    ..1. Open a new save file
    ..2. Go to options and change language to Japanese
    ..3. Close game
    ..4. Load into game and choose the file you just created

Notes
We aren't fully sure why this is only functioning on Japanese and apologize for the hassle of setting it up.
Running on Japanese also breaks the voice line randomization options other than the base "True Random".
If you experience any annoying/game-breaking issues, just delete the file out of your folder and wait for a future patch when hopefully we have this all figured out.

Stages

  • Hunter/Mechless Green Forest/White Jungle no longer require springs to dismount vines!
  • Pumpkin Hill has been made a bit more mech friendly

Options

  • Reorganized to have a Voice Line section for the upcoming changes
  • Toggles to turn On/Off each of the 3 game's voice lines have been added
    ..- Obvious side note, you need the extended file to really use these
  • Option to tell you which game the voice line is from added to subtitles

Ending Notes
If you don't care for the extended voice line file, you do not need to download and all the same options you've been using will still work for you. And you do not need to run with your save on Japanese.

Twitch Chat Integration
-Added moderators [one name per line in moderators.txt]
-Added the ability to give points to users in specific amounts

Twitch Chat Integration
-Channel Name in loginTwitch.txt is no longer case sensitive
-Game will now send an active message to twitch chat once started
-!points now displays the user's points
-!pointsall/!pointsactive will now give points to everyone/actives respectively [see currencyRates.txt]
-Chat message will pop up after successful usage of a command to assure you it worked
-!ring+/- !score+/- now give more per usage

Notes
Updating will always overwrite your old data, that being said it may be smart to keep backups of your Twitch folder.
If you have used TCI before, you should not need to reenter your login information, that is saved and will be reloaded in when you load the game.
If you are like me and use a seperate chatbot from your main account, you can use the bot's oauth token on your channel.
All information in the Twitch folder is editable for your use, make it your own!

I used a new program to 7-zip these files, if there is any issue, please let me know immediately and I will re-upload

Twitch Chat Integration (TCI)
-Renamed to TCI to avoid naming confusion
-Added a 'Twitch' folder that contains easy to edit data for TCI
-chatCurrency: the currency per user
-commandCosts: the cost per command (-1 means disabled)
-currencyRates: allows you to set up the basic points/time stuff

Notes
-A user is 'active' if they've sent a chat message
-A user will become inactive if they have not sent a chat before your AFK time
-Subs/follows/bits not yet added, but you can manually add in the points after you close the game
-Command to add points to a user/all users/active users coming

I just wanted to drop this patch before I went to sleep, sorry if it seems like its half done

SA2 Randomizer: Twitch Integration Begins

Twitch Integration
-SA2 Rando can now connect to your Twitch Chat for various reasons
-Login information is stored in loginTwitch.txt
-Place the channel name you wish to connect to (ie. prahaha if I want to connect to twitch.tv/prahaha)
-Place your oauth token on the next line (looks like oauth:lettersandnumbers from Twitch
-Please be conscious of extra spaces, I see potential for issues though have not found any yet, just try to have none if possible
-List of all current commands are stored in listOfCommands.txt

-No currency or cooldown system has been implemented yet, this is still very beta.
-Once connected, Twitch Chat can have an affect on your game play, have fun!
-Please leave any and all feedback as well as potential ideas in the discord

-Option added for SA2 Crowd Control (the twitch chat interaction)
-Options to disable Chao Race/Karate Opponent Randomization

Bug fixes
-Fixes crash with OHKO mode
-Fix that should allow set characters to work properly with Mission 5
