Mike's Fedora Setup Scripts
To run this setup, clone the repository or download a zip version, and run ./bootstrap. Remember to enter your root password when prompted BECOME password.
If you are running a system with no NVIDIA graphics card, go to roles/workstation-root/tasks/main.yml and comment out nvidia.yml.
After running the ansible script, modify /etc/default/grub to add mitigations=off and then sudo grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg
Run chsh -s /usr/bin/fish to change the default shell to fish, then add starship init fish | source to the end of ~/.config/fish/config.fish
Install rustup curl --proto '=https' --tlsv1.2 -sSf https://sh.rustup.rs | sh
Set fish user paths by running set -U fish_user_paths $HOME/.cargo/bin $HOME/.local/bin $fish_user_paths
To install the vscode extensions I use, run:
