Welcome to the OpenSatReciever wiki!
On the right side, you see a sidebar with the wikipages.
I made this project, because I was tired of all these "dumb" smarttv's or settopboxes which
- won't receive updates after 2 years
- aren't easy to repair
- aren't open & free
My first good sat reciever was a Dreambox 8000 HD PVR but after several years, the old lady became too slow and won't get updates anymore, because of its 600mhz mips cpu.
