For those of you too lazy to read the 2 sentence summary: this is for ease of access.
There is literally nothing different from the main code branch than from here, these are just compressed into zips based on what's needed.
Download one of the zips based on what you need:
- If you are using only Legacy Text (Link to API), then download
TextFit.zip - If you are using only TextMesh Pro, then download
TextMeshProFit.zip - If you need to use the script for both Legacy Text and TextMesh Pro, then download
LegacyTextAndTMP.zip
Just unzip and place the files in the assets folder for the project. Not that hard (but then, if you're here, then you had trouble trying to put yourself through a short readme.... I mean, the code doesn't even amount to more than 20KB so even people with legacybad internet should be fine downloading the full scripts [or copying and pasting everything in them].)
