Football Attendance Forecasting

Overview

This project aimed at assisting the FC Cincinnati in making strategies for boosting attendance. This project is composed of four parts as follows:

1. Create a dataset of game-by-game home attendance for the FC Cincinnati’s 2019 season
2. Construct a game-by-game attendance forecast model using Poisson Regression
3. Determine whether or not weekend games have a statistically significant impact on attendance
4. Determine whether or not win percentage at the time of the game has a significant impact on attendance
