ContinueGPT is a user-friendly Chrome extension designed to enhance the user experience on the OpenAI ChatGPT website. It adds a "Continue response" button that allows users to continue composing their messages after the AI's response, ensuring a seamless conversation flow. Users can also customize the continue message via the plugin interface.

Installation

There are three ways to install the ContinueGPT extension:

Method 1: Install from the Chrome Web Store

1. Visit the ContinueGPT Chrome Web Store page.
2. Click the "Add to Chrome" button and confirm the installation.
3. The ContinueGPT extension should now appear in your browser's toolbar.

Method 2: Install from the release ZIP file

1. Go to the Releases page of the GitHub repository.
2. Download the ContinueGPT.zip file for the latest release.
3. Extract the contents of the ContinueGPT.zip file to a folder on your computer.
4. Open Google Chrome and go to chrome://extensions/.
5. Enable "Developer mode" by toggling the switch in the top-right corner.
6. Click the "Load unpacked" button and select the folder where you extracted the ContinueGPT.zip file.
7. The ContinueGPT extension should now appear in the list of installed extensions.

Method 3: Install using git clone

1. Clone the GitHub repository to your local machine: git clone https://github.com/Jasmin25/ContinueGPT.git
2. Open Google Chrome and go to chrome://extensions/.
3. Enable "Developer mode" by toggling the switch in the top-right corner.
4. Click the "Load unpacked" button and select the folder where you cloned the GitHub repository.
5. The ContinueGPT extension should now appear in the list of installed extensions.

Usage

1. Click on the ContinueGPT icon in your browser's toolbar to open the extension's popup.
2. In the popup, enter the custom continue message you'd like to use in the text box.
3. Click the "Save" button to store your custom message. The extension will remember this message and use it when you click the "Continue response" button on the OpenAI ChatGPT website.
4. If you want to revert to the default continue message, clear the text box and click "Save".
