A browser extension that listens to your gMeets for you. And notifies you if something important is mentioned

Installation

• Addon Stores:
  • Firefox
  • Chrome (coming soon)
• Manual Installation
  • Download the latest zip from the releases page
  • Unpack the zipped file
  • For chrome:
    • Go to extensions pages
    • Select 'Load unpacked'
    • Select the folder that was unzipped. It should contain a manifest.json
  • For firefox (only for debugging):
    • Go to the debugging page
    • Select 'Load temporary Add-on'
    • Select the manifest.json file in the unzipped folder
  • You're all set, Patronus is installed. Head over to Usage

Usage

1. Enable subtitles (CC)
2. In the plugin UI - set the keywords and interval
   • Keywords are the words that should be searched for. Case and punctuation are ignored when matching keywords.
   • Interval is how often the search will be run (in milliseconds). I've found that 1 second (1000 ms) is very reliable. Values above 10 seconds will often miss words.
3. Click the toggle switch to enable Patronus (it won't check for anything unless this is on)
4. You'll be notified when one of the keywords is found
