Cinema Ecommerce App

3's Cinema is a full-stack ecommerce application built using React, Express, TypeScript, and MySQL.

Project Structure

This project is split into two folders, react and api for the frontend and backend. Each folder contains more details for that part of the project, and includes instructions on how to get started installing the project locally.

Features

• Uses The Movie Database api to get information on current movies in theaters
• Created REST api using Express to serve MySQL backend
• Created web application using React to browse currently playing movies, add them to cart, and checkout

Planned Features

The following features are currently being worked on:

• Authentication using JWT
• Order history page for each user

Getting Started

If you would like to run the project yourself locally, simply:

• Install backend following the instructions in the api folder.
• Install frontend following the instructions in the react folder.
• Run npm run dev in each folder
