An example of how direction could be accounted for in the event-display.

Generate fake azimuth/zenith angles in data.
Start marker offset from station to indicate incoming direction.

Some problems;
Not perfectly clear, a lot of overlap and busy animation.
Amount of offset should also depend on zoom level.

Maybe arrows? While it looks nice if there are not too many showers, it's a bit confusing when there is a lot of activity. Also, where are the stations? They seem to be moving a bit.

Stations are at the end points, they do not move. The showers start small and then grow bigger as they move toward the station. Yes, arrows might work, similar to how I did it for the static event display, though that was for coincidences, and the arrow (line) was connected to the reconstructed core position.

I know they're not really moving, 😉. It is a difficult problem. When you let the circles move, you do create the illusion of moving particles, that's good. However, you also want to make clear where the stations are located. Using arrows is maybe a bit too static.
