Tracking bugs, caveats, reminders and ramblings in and of my public clones/forks.
_!@#$%^_🐖☠️🦨: lost this entire chapter's blurb of text thanks to fat fingering the browser tabs just now. Bugger it, millenium hand and shrimp!
GitHub + PICNIC: github restarts independent numbering for issues filed in forks. Sensible from a GitHub-technical perspective but workflow-wise for me it's 🤮.
This experiment. Always the same, slightly longer URL-ish reference to an issue in our commit messages; copy&paste doesn't cut it. Should be easier to brain-train yours truly into using it as often as I originally wanted to use the gitHub facility, but haven't for years, thanks to the nuisance I experienced often enough to unlearn it somehow. So we're down to training this slow animal. There's always hope. And prayer. 🙏

Conclusion: GitHub docs: Issues and pull requests may say #1
and GH-1
SHOULD work, but they DON'T in the README.md
file.
... 🤔 Sure enough, those work in any commit, though? ... 🥳 yup!
