Crypto News

The website is to show the latest news and gossips on blockchain technology and cryptocurrency from around the world. As cryptocurrencies transform how we trade, transact and interact online, it has become more important than ever for technology leaders to have experience with these innovations. I am a cryptocurrency enthusiast and I believe the technology along with blockchain, that is just a few years away, will be amazing.

    • From the owner's perspectives regarding the website, I would want cryptocurrency and blockchain enthusiasts to visit as often as possible to learn more.

More to Add

  • I would like to add more information to the news page. As time goes by with the latest cryptocurrency and blockchain technology from around the world, there is too much information to add all at once. I will keep adding.

Structure

The site will consist of three main pages; home, news, sign up and also external links to information on the latest blockchain and cryptocurrency technology.

Design

  • Colour Scheme

    • The two main colours for the website are dark-grey and pure-blue colour.
  • Typography

    • The Oswald font is the main font used throughout the website with sans-serif as the fall-back font in case there are any issues with the font not loading to the pages.
  • Imagery

    • Our brain can interpret images much quicker than text, which is why images are important to any website. The images used on the home page through to the news page and the sign-up page were chosen to have the information needed to understand what the website is about.

    • The structure of the website code I used was from the "Love Running" Code Institute. I liked the way it looked and it was also user friendly. I also added some grid cards with external links to each one.

  • Balsamiq was used to create the wireframe for each of the pages.

Features

  • Responsive on all popular device sizes.

  • Interactive elements, some if not all external links have so much information and knowledge for every visiting user.

  • I used similar code to the Code Institute "Love Running" walkthrough for most of my website page, as I liked the look and feel of the layout.

  • I used YouTube for my News Page Grid layout with the cards and images. I am more of a visual person and take more information in, by viewing rather than reading.

  • Have to give a big shout out to W3DOCS for the code for my buttons.

  • My go to website has to be W3Schools. It has so much information and the knowledge is amazing. i love everything they do over on their website.

  • Stackoverflow best answers to your technical question.

  • All my images are from Pexels, Unsplash, Pixabay, Google. Shout out to all the amazing photographers over there.
