Releases: F4uzan/HgLauncher
v1.4.0
One month worth update, culminated into a single, hopefully-not-buggy release.
- Super shiny new icon from the designs of @tebriz159. (#15)
- Implemented shorthands based off of the suggestion in #11 and #16. Shorthands is a second name (or tag, anything you want) that can be used to search for the app.
- Web search providers can be modified; add them, edit them, delete them, go wild.
- Widgets support is extended. Multiple widgets can be added, and widgets have their own home. Some widgets still appear weirdly; that is up for the future commit to finish. (#12)
- More gestures action! You can now do swipe up, double-tap, as well as a swipe-down gesture to expand status bar.
- Added 'hide status bar' option for ICS & Jellybean. (Completion of #4)
- Added Basque translation (incomplete for now; may need updating) courtesy of @beriain. (#13)
- Lots and lots of fixes.
Feels proud to see that long list of changes.
v1.3.6.1
v1.3.6
Hooray, a release that does more than a bug fix!
- Added the ability to re-order pinned apps.
- Implemented gestures control: now you can launch apps with a swipe left/right on the desktop.
- Fixes for pinned apps icon when the pinned app shares package name with another activity.
- Sorted out inconsistency issues with launcher's smooth slide animation.
- Probably some more bug fixes here and there.
Next release should have an influx of bug fixes.
v1.3.5.5
Bug fixes? Bug fixes.
- Improved launcher settings. It no longer uses the outdated material-preferences library, and instead leverages Google's preference-v7 for greater and better compatibility.
- Fixed issues with inconsistent preferences application.
- Sorted out issues with fast scroller crashing all over.
- Code optimisations.
I guess that's about it.
v1.3.5.4
The previous bug fix is buggy, I found lots of bugs, then I fix them. It's Wednesday as usual, folks!
Changes:
- Fixed crashing when excluded app list is empty/when the launcher is first run.
- Fixed disappearing 'restore all' menu.
- Improved performance when changing preferences in settings.
- App installation/uninstallation listener should be working again now.
This is a quick retcon, yeah.
v1.3.5.3
These two weeks have been not at all eventful. So, here, a bug fix.
Changes:
- Fixed hanging/freezing Settings when rapidly switching between themes.
- Improved widgets support: now widgets can be interacted!
- Reduced memory usage for some use-cases.
- Other fixes and improvements.
And that's about it!
v1.3.5.2
I had this pushed to Play Store, but for some reason GitHub went down last evening. So here it is; super late and super totally a bug fix.
Changes:
- Super experimental widgets support. It's still half-baked and you can't interact with widgets yet, but if this piques your interest then you can enable it by using the testing menu.
- Overhauled hidden apps implementation. Now it works for multiple launch intents for the same apps.
- Fixed some minor UX issues.
I don't know what happened to GitHub yesterday, but I'm sure it's not a good one.
v1.3.5.1
A bug fix dedicated to fixing issues actually reported to me, instead of discovered by my own stupidity.
Changes in this release:
- Sorted a race condition between loading pinned apps and icon pack.
- Fixed an issue where scrolling is still viable when the panel is moving up.
- Fixed broken 'uninstall' menu in Android P.
- Prevent user from searching apps if the app list hasn't been loaded.
Have I said 'fixed' enough?
v1.3.5
Apparently by my definition, 'big features implementation' meant an even bigger bug fixes. No new features here, but there is a huge amount of fixes and code maintenance.
Changes in this release:
- Improved launcher performance and responsiveness. I know I abuse this point a lot, but this time it actually is an improvement.
- Fixed snackbar disappearing due to nonexistent favourites panel. I'm sorry.
- Squashed bugs from app panel and search bar.
- Fixed inconsistent UIs and UXs where possible.
Oh and the APK size grew. Nice.
v1.3.4.3
Now, I wanted to delay the release a bit further, but there will be huge feature implementations after this and I'd rather not miss a milestone to go back to.
Changes:
- You can now tell the favourites panel to stop being shy: make it persistent and have it appear all the time.
- Adaptive icon shadows, based off of the feature in Launcher3.
- Some minor crash fixes.
Don't crash, k?
