How to get started

Welcome to DevProgress! We're going to assume you've signed the contributor agreement and already have access to the DevPrgress Slack. If not, please go to devprogress.us and fill out on on-boarding form.

How to find things to work on

If you're in the DevProgress Slack, hopefully you've introduced yourself and have been guided to a project that sounds interesting. If not, or if you're curious to see what we're working on, please ask in #general. You can also browse the slack channels (projects start with #proj-).

If you have a skillset you want to make use of, you can also find relevant issues in the DevProgress Github repos. The project leaders will be tagging issues, so you can filter by:

How to be a project lead

Being a project lead means there's one or more projects you're passionate about, and you can spend 20+ hours a week working on them and guiding other volunteers. If you're interested in being a lead for a project or area of DevProgress, ping @phildini, @bradyk or @decause on slack.
