Welcome to the booking-system wiki!

This project aims to create a meeting booking system for Neuromatch and Climatematch Academies (NMA/CMA) 2024.

Mentors are professionals in the field who get matched with one or several groups of students according to their availability and other criteria. They are expected to meet with each group one (CMA) or several (NMA) times during the two- or three-week course respectively. In the past iterations of Neuromatch courses, the onus of scheduling these meetings has been on the students or teaching assistants, and it typically happens so close to the course that the mentors' schedules can be quite full.

The purpose of the booking system will be to automate meeting scheduling while accounting for the constraints currently used in matching. If successful, this system will replace mentor matching.
