Superdesk_install

Minimal requirements: 4GB RAM, 4GB Free space

Replace <ip_or_domain> with public IP address or domain where superdesk'll be accessible.

Install on fresh Ubuntu 16.04

Superdeak, Superdeak's NewsRoom, and Superdeak's LiveBlog

Prepare docker

sudo apt-get remove docker docker-engine docker.io containerd runc

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install \
    apt-transport-https \
    ca-certificates \
    curl \
    gnupg-agent \
    software-properties-common

curl -fsSL https://download.docker.com/linux/ubuntu/gpg | sudo apt-key add -

sudo add-apt-repository \
   "deb [arch=amd64] https://download.docker.com/linux/ubuntu \
   $(lsb_release -cs) \
   stable"

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install docker-ce docker-ce-cli containerd.io

sudo docker run hello-world

sudo groupadd docker

sudo usermod -aG docker $USER

docker run hello-world

sudo curl -L "https://github.com/docker/compose/releases/download/1.25.3/docker-compose-$(uname -s)-$(uname -m)" -o /usr/local/bin/docker-compose

sudo chmod +x /usr/local/bin/docker-compose

sudo ln -s /usr/local/bin/docker-compose /usr/bin/docker-compose

Prepare node 7.10.1

nvm install 7.10.1

Install Superdesk replace <superdesk_ip_or_domain> with your Superdesk's sub/domain. Default: localhost

nvm use 7.10.1

bash <(curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/BlackOrder/SuperdeskInstall/master/superdesk) <superdesk_ip_or_domain>

Install Superdesk's NewsRoom - you have to install superdesk first replace <superdesk_ip_or_domain> with your Superdesk's sub/domain. Default: localhost replace <newsroom_ip_or_domain> with your NewsRoom's sub/domain. Default: localhost

nvm use 7.10.1

bash <(curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/BlackOrder/SuperdeskInstall/master/newsRoom) <superdesk_ip_or_domain> <newsroom_ip_or_domain>

Install Superdesk's LiveBlog - you have to install superdesk first replace <superdesk_ip_or_domain> with your Superdesk's sub/domain. Default: localhost replace <liveblog_ip_or_domain> with your LiveBlog's sub/domain. Default: localhost

nvm use 7.10.1

Open http://<ip_or_domain> in browser
