This a web application of CoronaVirus statistical data built in react, to access the platform, here is the live link.

Description

COVID-19 Tracker's primary objective is to provide a reliable tracking system to monitor Coronavirus cases across the globe, with the aid of informing the public and fostering improvement and stability in the health sector. The application displays dynamic data such as:

• List of f all the countries with COVID-19 cases
• The number of confirmed cases.
• The number of confirmed deaths.

The data is fetched from an API and updated in real-time

Display of data for various countries and regions

Real-time updates of data

Historical data visualization

Global statistics for confirmed cases, deaths, and recoveries

Installation

To use this rep on your machine, requires some simple steps:

• Open a terminal/ command line interface on your computer

• Clone the repo by;

    git clone git@github.com:Austinjnr/covid-19-Tracker.git
  

• Once it creates a copy on your local machine for you.

• Change directory to the repo folder:

    cd covid-19-Tracker
  

• Open it in Visual Studio Code

    code .
  

Setup

1. Run npm install in your terminal
2. In a new terminal, run npm start. This will run your React app
