Calculator Project

This simple calculator project provides a user-friendly interface for basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentage calculations. Users can also clear the display, remove the last entered character, and calculate results with ease.

Features

1. Addition (+):

   • Click the "+" button to add numbers.

2. Subtraction (-):

   • Click the "-" button to subtract numbers.

3. Multiplication (*):

   • Click the "*" button to multiply numbers.

4. Division (/):

   • Click the "/" button to divide numbers.

5. Percentage (%):

   • Click the "%" button to calculate percentages.

6. Clear Display (C):

   • Click the "C" button to clear the display.

7. Remove Single Character (X):

   • Click the "X" button to remove the last entered character.

8. Decimal Point (.):

   • Click the "." button to add decimal points to numbers.

9. Calculate (=):

   • Click the "=" button to evaluate the expression and display the result.

Usage

1. Clone or Download:

   • Clone or download the repository to your local machine:

     git clone https://github.com/Ashique01/calculator.git

2. Open in Browser:

   • Open the index.html file in a web browser to launch the calculator.

3. Perform Calculations:

   • Perform arithmetic operations by clicking the corresponding buttons on the calculator.

Project Structure

• index.html: HTML file containing the structure of the calculator interface.
• style.css: CSS file for styling the calculator layout.
• index.js: JavaScript file for implementing calculator functionality.
