This small plugin allows to save editor camera as node. Using workaround posted here.
To use this plugin, follow these steps:
- Copy the godot-save-editor-camera folder into your Godot project's addons folder.
- In the Godot editor, open the Project Settings and go to the Plugins tab.
- Find this plugin in the list and click the "Enable" checkbox.
You can access a new feature in your 3D scene viewport that allows you to create a camera node with the same position as your current editor camera by clicking the "Save Camera" button located at the top of the viewport. Additionally, this plugin saves the FOV, near, and far settings of the editor camera. The newly created camera node will be added under the root of the scene.
