Project Checkroof is an rainwater and energy conservation initiative started by Chandradeo Arya and his friends. Project Checkroof is combination of three projects rainroof, sunroof and coolroof. The initiative's stated tagline is "Discover what your roof can do for you".
There is huge knowledge gap and know-how on starting rain water harvesting and its potentials. Our projects intends to answer three problems using AI and satellite data technology that a normal person faces if starting rain water harvesting. What is RWH, How much water can you save, How to start and who can do installation.
Project Checkroof helps you discover the rainwater harvesting (RWH) potential of your house. Just giving your address in Google maps you get the annual water production capacity, installation options, financing options and list of certified vendors to get the installation done. It also tell you the long term impact on groundwater, cumulative saving and maintenance options. Behind the scene it works using satellite imagery, 3D mapping and historical data of rainfall, weather and temperature pattern.
