• Simulated an IoT home security device for surveillance using Java, which captures video only in case of any activity in the vicinity and locally stores the video with a timestamp for OnDemand retrieval.
• Implemented a CoAP client to send sensor data, CoAP server to receive sensor data at the gateway device.
• Implemented MQTT client to communicate with the MQTT broker and implemented a CoAP to MQTT resource handler for proper handling of CoAP messages.
• Exchanged messages with other related projects in JSON format.\
