School Attendance Web App

This repository contains the code for a school attendance web app built with React.js. The app allows teachers to easily manage and track the attendance of students in their classrooms.

Installation

To install and run the school attendance web app, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/your-username/school-attendance-web-app.git
  2. Navigate to the project directory: cd school-attendance-web-app
  3. Install the dependencies: npm install
  4. Start the development server: npm start
  5. Open your browser and visit http://localhost:3000 to access the web app.

Usage

  1. Open the web app in your browser.
  2. Sign up for a new teacher account or log in with your existing credentials.
  3. Once logged in, you will be taken to your dashboard where you can create and manage your classes.
  4. Click on a class to view the class details and manage student attendance.
  5. Use the attendance form to mark students as present, absent, or tardy for each class session.
  6. View attendance reports for each class to analyze attendance trends and identify students who require attention.
  7. Customize your notification settings to receive alerts for students who are consistently absent or tardy.
