After cloning the project:

1. Install homebrew - ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.github.com/mxcl/homebrew/go)"
2. Install Redis - brew install redis
3. Start redis - redis-server
4. git checkout development - to checkout to the development branch
5. run sudo sh install - this will install any dependencies
6. to start the node server - node server.js

Ready to go!
