This is the release candidate for Orangered! 2.

I've been testing the codebase for about 2 weeks without problems, this shouldn't have any issues for anyone but Traviscat.

If all goes well for a while, I'll push this up as the release.

The app is now what I consider a minimal viable product, which is what I like for a x.0 release.

Changes from the last release:

  • Help button on the login window that takes you to the github home page for the project
  • A better readme for the github homepage (is only on this branch, will be on the main branch at release)
  • Wrong password error message and interaction flow
  • Secret option to change to some envelope style icons, requires plist edit.

  • Fixed some strange notification issues
  • Notifications will no longer stack unless you get more messages.
  • Notifications now tell you how many unread messages you have if there are more than 1

First fixes Pre-release
Pre-release

Fixes a couple of things

  • Icon shows up incorrectly the first time on dark menubar (thanks traviscat!)
  • Mailbox item is not disabled if you are not logged in the first time (thanks me!)
  • Some better code, should make you feel good about running this app!

This marks the first binary build of the completely rewritten app.

Don't expect too many fancy features!
