  1. Provide options to disable ‘List of Figures’ and ‘List of Tables’.
  2. Allow adjustments on column widths of the vita page via \vitadatewidth and \vitatextwidth, see 'demo2.tex' for the example.
  3. Allow customized publication list in vita page, see 'demo2.tex' for the example.
  4. Allow users to change the titles of Table of Contents (\contentsname), List of Figures (\listfigurename), List of Table (\listtablename), Acknowledgments page (\acksname), Vita page (\vitaname), and References (\refname).
  5. Automatically adds PDF bookmarks for intropages if using 'hyperref' package.
  6. Increase gap between page numbers and the last line of text
  7. Include 'List of Figure', 'List of Table', 'Acknowledgments', and 'Vita' pages into the table of contents and PDF bookmarks.
  8. Improves compatibility with the 'natbib' package.
  9. Fix the bug in \degreeyear.
  10. Correct the order of committee members.
  11. Fix page size to US letter size for PDFLaTeX.
  12. Remove hidden ‘FF’ symbols in the code.
  13. New example 'demo2.tex' to demonstrate the new features.
  14. Update documentation for this version.

I am not sure why this pull request has not been merged for such a long time, but I think at least the feature of fixing paper size is required for Overleaf users. Since I am not a LaTex expert, can someone review this pull request and merge it if it really fixes the issues caused by the change of UCLA dissertation?
