OmniAuth Shibboleth strategy is an OmniAuth strategy for authenticating through Shibboleth (SAML). The detail is written in README.md (https://github.com/toyokazu/omniauth-shibboleth). This is the version to be used with OmniAuth 1.0.x. If you are interested in previous version OmniAuth, please visit https://github.com/toyokazu/omniauth_shibboleth.
If you want to authenticate user in a Rails application by Shibboleth without Apache or IIS, rack-saml may help you to protect /auth/shibboleth/callback path.

It supports a part of Shibboleth SP functions and it is easily integrated with OmniAuth Shibboleth.
