Plugin for creating Android UI widgets with Material design specifications. Each UI widgets contains default Material design specifications and if required user can customize the specifications in the editing panel and save, and use the same.

To get the widgets into android studio you can drag and drop the generated code, similar to the drag and drop of android studio in Design view

Installation:

Manually:

  Download the  [MaterialDesignSpecs.jar](https://github.com/torryharris/Material-Design-Specs/blob/master/MaterialDesignWidgetSpecs.jar)

On MAC:

  1. Preference >Plugins >Install plugin from disk... Select MaterialDesignSpecs.jar above.

On Linux or Windows:

  1. File >Settings >IDE Settings >Plugins >Insatll plugin from disk... Select MaterialDesignSpecs.jar above.

  2. Restart IntelliJ/Android Studio to activate plugin. 

Install IntelliJ Plugin Repositories:

On MAC:

  1. Preference > Plugins > Browse repositories, then search material.

On Linux or Windows:

  1. File>Settings..>IDE settings>Plugins>Browse repositories, then search MaterialDesignSpecs.
