The goal of this project is to exemplify how is possible automatically recognize human activities using a few sensors

This Step Counter app is an Android application that counts the number of steps taken by the user using the step counting sensor on their device. The app features a clean user interface with a step count display, a chronometer, a progress bar, and a goal tracker.

The initial version of the data collection tool is capable of capturing real-time gyro and accelerometer sensor data from a mobile device while specific letters are displayed on the screen. These data points are stored in an SQLite database with a Django-based backend.
