Standalone components explicitly manage their own dependencies. A repo that demonstrates how to use standalone components, directives, & pipes in Angular v17, aim to streamline the authoring experience by reducing the need for NgModules. Existing applications can optionally & incrementally adopt the new standalone style without any breaking changes
