The text below is approximately what is found in the MIWCO-LTP
distribution.  I have tried to update it to reflect the correct
arrangement in the current sources, but some inconsistencies may
remain.

I recently got access to some Bluetooth devices and tried to test the
L2CAP IOR profile.  Unfortunately this did not work out of the box,
and I do not have time to do proper debugging.  I suspect that using
LTP as a GTP layer works, but did not test this.

LTP - GTP tunneling over L2CAP

This is a version of MIWCO wireless CORBA that has been extended with
GTP tunneling support over Bluetooth L2CAP layer. Bluetooth support is
implemented using BlueZ stack version 2.0-pre1
(http://bluez.sourceforge.net). The implementation is preliminary
tested with Nokia Connectivity Card DTL-1. Other configuration
included the following:
 -Linux kernel 2.4.13
 -Linux PCMCIA package pcmcia-cs version 3.1.31
 -DTL1 driver version 0.4 for the Nokia Connectivity Card DTL-1

The following files were added:
orb/ltp_address.cc		- LTP address format with parser
orb/transport/ltp.cc		- transport and server over L2CAP
orb/ltp_ior.cc			- IOR profile

Also header file ltp.h for the previous files was added in the
include/mico directory.

In addition the following files were modified:
include/mico/MobileTerminal.idl		- LTP tunneling identifier
include/mico/ior.h			- support for the IOR profile
coss/wireless/proxy.cc			- recognizes LTP
coss/wireless/AccessBridge_impl.cc	- recognizes LTP
orb/orb.cc				- support for the IOR profile


Bluetooth support is compiled with the --with-bluetooth configure
option.  You will need the BlueZ stack installed.

Note that in order to use any tunneling, including LTP, you have to have 
certain preferences made (.micorc and .hlarc configuration files etc). 
These steps are described in MIWCO's documentation so they are not 
discussed here. 

Also note that because IOR profile is implemented, MIWCO-LTP can now be 
used like traditional ORB without any wireless parts. The directory 
demo/ltp/hello contains a simple helloworld example and startup 
scripts for both server and client. In order to use the IOR profile the 
Bluetooth address must be given in the -ORBIIOPAddr command line parameter 
(e.g. like -ORBIIOPAddr bt-l2cap:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX#PSM (check BlueZ's
documentation for more info about address and psm)).
