Setting up and running a self-hosted e-mail server has been notoriously difficult. The main goal of Stalwart Labs is to modernize, democratize and promote decentralization of email by creating an open-source mail server that is simple to run but at the same time extremely secure, robust and focused on privacy.

All the mail server components and libraries released so far have been written by a single developer without any external funding. I am looking for sponsors to help me build an open-source distributed e-mail server in Rust that is easy to install and a delight to maintain!
