Beta Testing

This information applies only to beta testers. Please if you are not a beta tester forgot this.

Beta testing is not an easy question, it is a hard and serious work. The ideal thing is to have enough unit testing and automatic integrated testing to avoid this manual testing... but for the moment :( messic doesn't have enough automatic testing.

To test messic you only need to download the last beta vesion and follow some steps in order to test the whole functionality.

Currently the last beta version is at the official download page.

We have created an excel file resuming all the minimum test to do. These are a minimum set of tests, you can improve it as long as you want, but at least do these.

Test Protocol Messic 0.5-b (it is an ods format, for example you can open with Libre Office)

When you obtain the results, send them to the following email: messicapp@gmail.com

If you find a bug during the process of testing, please report it at the issues page. Please, detail the error as much as possible, giving all the necessary information to reproduce it.

Regarding the test protocol, (the excel file), it is also under construction. If you feel there are errors on the definition of tests or you think it must be improved in some way, please say it.
