Unfortunately, we're too close to the next release of Freedom Metal for me to consider merging this, and our interrupt APIs will be changing dramatically post-release when we merge the freedom-metal-next branch, which will provide improved access to SPI interrupts.
Depending on your requirements and timeline for having this functionality for the SPI driver, I'd recommend some combination of:
- Waiting for the freedom-metal-next branch to be merged, at which point this functionality will be made available
- Maintaining these changes on your own branch/fork as necessary
