TV Stuff

Scripts and other misc data for my TV setup.

channel_scan.sh - A utility to scan for ATSC channels on HDHomeRun ATSC devices ie: HDHR3 / HDHDR Dual / HDHR Plus/Extend

Also available as a self contained Docker container here

Usage: 'channel_scan.sh -h' will display available options

If no options are given, a full channel scan will be performed on the first available tuner found.

The scan output will look like this:

channel_report.sh - Generate reports from the output of the datalog file created by channel_scan.sh

Usage: 'channel_report.sh -h' will display available options

Other software and hardware in use

* EyeTV (replaced with Plex as the new owners of EyeTV, Geniatech, have decided to drop support for the HDHomeRun tuners)

Licensing: This is distributed unider the Creative Commons 3.0 Non-commecrial, Attribution, Share-Alike license. You can use the code for noncommercial purposes. You may NOT sell it. If you do use it, then you must make an attribution to me (i.e. Include my name and thank me for the hours I spent on this)
