HTML CSS and JS display real time data being delivered throug the Pusher realtime data service.

Data is collected by sersors being read by an arduino running “dataLogger.ino”. This arduino then sends the sensor data over serial to a ruby script “serial.rb”. Serial.rb takes the serial data and feeds data to a Pusher server, which updates data in real time to a server. Using a JS push client, live updates to the webpage are triggered.

Features include

1. Humidity control with sensor feedback using 5v usb humidifyer controlled by

a 5v to 120v wall power relay and an ac to dc 5v converter. Humidity control will keep humidity levels within prefered range, 50-60%

1. 1 Temperature sensors for lighted and dark sides respectively totalling 2

2. Light sensor to determine wether basking lights are on, room light is on,

daylight

1. Movement sensor to determin if owners are awake in room

2. Humidity sensor on dark Side

Soon to be implemented

1. Timed control of 2 100W 120V basking lights using 5v to 120v relay and using

home wall power

1. Switch to lightless ceramic heat lamp and create feedback loop to keep heat

levels within 70-88 degrees F.
