Development decisions
During the week of 2013-04-08, it was decided that the curvature and torsion stats were not really meaningful, and used too much CPU for their worth. Therefore, it was decided by @jchoude and @marccote to remove them. If you need some code related to this, see commit 2836429915258be04203917b9927fc686531833e.
As of 2013-04-11, it has been more than a year since the KdTree code was not in use. It has been removed in commit b9bef64406665c41a5412bcd98e52910d3e1b666, if you need some references.
